Glorious Sammy in the Third Dimension

He is about five inches tall and made of super sculpey. He is covered with fleece, and now, so is everything within ten feet of my desk.

From the front
The lighting looks like he is next to a neon sign. And very distressed about it. Hmm... "The Temptation of Glorious Sammy"

I don't know exactly what I am going to turn all this into at the moment, but I was considering making diorama/shadowbox type things. Sort of like that independant study stuff I did a while back, except without the whole photo/photoshop aspect.

And I'm sure Sammy would like to talk to you too; the poor little guy is so very sad and lonely.
But I intend to make a friend for him soon, so there is no need to worry over his mental well-being.

Yeah, the gesture of the one hand that's resting on it's knuckles is perfect!

Remind me to show you some Eiland comics. You can see some of their stuff here: http://lambiek.net/eiland_expo/index.htm

They mix media an awful lot, and seem to master each one they try their hands at, including 3-D sequences.

Those comics are really impressive, I definately would like to take a look at those.
One of the guys has a bunch of neat-o stuff on his website: http://www.tobiasschalken.com/

rock on, meeechelle. glorious sammy makes me both sad and frightened at the same time. Sad because...well...he looks sad. And frightened because I could see waking up in the middle of the night to find him at the end of my bed. Not that he'd harm me, mind you, but it'd still scare the crap out of me. Very life like. You get a gold star!

Excellent... a gold star will look great on my resume.

Nice profile picture, by the way
