There are no turkeys in this post

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so to commemorate the event, here is some art that has nothing to do with it.

Not sure how much I like this one yet..
"Never Entirely"

A box I painted on.

It's a really crappy one from the craft store.

Michael has posted some pictures of a very brief, all-of-a-sudden art show that we and our talented friends had some stuff in a couple of weeks ago. (There aren't any turkeys in that post, either)

Bizarre but beautiful as usual Michelle. Very nice patterning on the first one, and I like the second because it reminds me of a nursery rhyme from when I was a kid. Don't quite remember it, something about a baker, a doctor and a candlestick maker going to Gloucester in a bucket.

Oh yeah, Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks!

I looked up that rhyme on Wikipedia since i apparently have nothing better to do:

"The oldest known printed version from the 14th century goes:
'Hey! Rub-a-dub-dub! Ho! Rub-a-dub-dub! Three maids in a tub,
And who do you think were there?
The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker,
And all of them gone to the fair!'
This is interpreted as describing otherwise respectable tradesmen attending a peep-show."

Ohhhh... that's pretty funny! It's possible my memory's failing in old age and I'm mushing two different poems together, I'm almost certain there was a trip to Gloucester involved!
