Soggy Saturday sketchbook

The weekend here in Memphis was full of endless rain,

tornado dodging,

monsters,

and May flowers.

I meant to stop by yesterday and comment, but I got busy.

These look nice, the May Flowers reminds me of a book I used to read when I was a kid, a book I can only remember fragments of now.

Bertha looks great too, not creepy at all. Was that done on computer or is it physical?

Hey there Shobo! Don't feel bad, I meant to reply to your comment a week ago but I got lazy.

I wish you could remember the name of that book, I am intrigued.

Bertha might have done well to be a bit creepier, I don't know if she really fits the tone of the story. Oh well, I like the image anyway. It is an ink drawing colored in ye olde Photoshoppe.

Just to be clear, I was being sarcastic about Bertha not being creepy. She's definitely creepy, at first look I didn't notice the baby!

I wish I could remember the name of the book as well, I just remember that the moon had fallen out of the sky, and a group of forest animals, lead by a badger (I think) embarked on a journey to find it and get it back into the sky.
