My submission for this year's Project Sketchbook. I wasn't sure if I would be done on time (didn't start until thursday night, oops) but I managed to put this together over the weekend. I had fun making it!
The cover. This was drawn with a colored pencil, everything else is watercolor.

These are pretty amazing.
My favorites are the devil and the girl on the croc's tail, and the lion at the shore. But they're all really awesome.
The one with the fellow inside the croc and the tongue that looks like a tapeworm is harder to look at the more you look at it though. I'd rather not think about what's going on. I mean, the croc's either eaten him, or he's wearing a fresh croc skin suit. Either way, what's the deal with the tapeworm-like tongue?
Thanks Shobo!!!
If it makes you feel better, we can say the gator guy is wearing a halloween costume and eating a huge piece of delicious strawberry licorice.
Brilliant! You did all this over an extended weekend?
Hi Eric, thanks for the compliment and for dropping by the blog!
Yes, technically Thursday night, Saturday night, and Sunday morning/afternoon. I was surprised I finished, and even more surprised that I actually like the results. I'm itching to do more little sketchbooks now!
Hello there! How’s it going?
Impressive post I must say!

Good stuff! Your sketchbook was one of the favorites when Rozelle was documenting the returned entries. I thought the "promo pouch" at the end was a cheeky touch :)
